What data is used by Research Horizon Navigator?
Research Horizon Navigator uses the last 5 complete years + the current year of WoS core collection data, covering SCIE, SSCI, AHCI, ESCI, and CPCI. Unlike "Research Fronts" in ESI —which used only articles and reviews— Research Horizon Navigator also includes conference proceedings and other document types. This broader coverage yields a richer topic landscape.
The inclusion of CPCI notably increases topic coverage in Computer Science & Engineering.
Data in Research Horizon Navigator is updated monthly.
